OK. eye roll……………..That’s true. But giving up worry is like…………………giving up control. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha…………………AS IF any of us have any! Sigh. It’s hard, to NOT worry. A “happy medium”, right? Whatever the fuck that is.

Right. A happy medium. It IS hard not to worry but worry steals tomorrow from us.

and then we find the futility of worry, when we realize that today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.

I’m a worrier – always have been. Take that from me and I’ll be hollow.

As true as it ever was.
The media taps this tendency in us to manipulate us.
We have to remember the people who feed the world into our homes through those magic boxes we call TVs, they had to be stopped from using subliminal video suggestion on us at a time when we were relatively “innocent” as a people, imagine how much more perverse they’ve gotten in the things they’re willing to do at this stage of our corruption?
NLP: words matter, the sounds in them matter more.
Sound Scaping: sound makes a huge impact on us & all sorts of aural programming is inflicted on us… anyone who cries at movies should understand they’ve been manipulated & they probably liked it.
Image Composition: the colors used, the positions occupied on the screen, relative positions on the screen, positions in the “stack” such as foreground or background… ALL of this tells us stuff that has as much if not more impact than a pretty girl holding a cold beer & lighting a cigar for a short man with a big obedient dog.
Presentation: this incorporates other tools to directly affect perception, the others create emotional impact they’re like computer code in that they are not evil until they are used for evil. If you use them to make people love your great movie, WOOT! When you use them to color the news to the point it’s no longer news, evil. When you use this to twist someone into buying things they don’t need & can’t afford, evil. When you use it to justify war…. So the way Rachel Maddow or Glen Beck says something matters about as much as what it is they say. They are paid to keep you worried & coming back for more worry every time they’re on.
